About pricing and attendance
To fit your schedule and needs, Newmass Yoga offers a variety of bulk discount pricing options that reduce your cost per class.
You may pay for classes online, and you may also pay in person when you come to class. For in-class payments, you may pay with cash, major credit cards or personal checks made out to the teacher, “Eric Burri.”
Semester Memberships must be used within the 13-week season/semester in which they're purchased.
Unlimited Attendance Semester Membership: $ 180.00 ( $ 145.00 for students )
One Class per Week Semester Membership: $ 100.00 ( $ 80.00 for students )
Purchasing a 1 Class per Week Semester Membership permits you to attend ANY 1 class each week at either location during your enrolled semester.
** You are NOT required to attend the same class meeting each week. Also, you may make up any missed classes anytime -- at either location -- during your enrolled semester.**
The Unlimited Attendance Semester Membership entitles you to attend ANY or ALL classes at either location during your enrolled semester.
Cost per class (13-week semester):
1 Class per Week Semester Membership = $ 7.69 per class, $ 6.15 per class for students.
Unlimited Attendance Semester Membership = $ 2.77 per class, $ 2.23 per class for students (* if you attend every available class *).
4-Class Pass: $ 40.00 ( $ 32.00 for students ) -- good at either location -- no expiration date
** All memberships and class passes may be used at both Newmass Yoga locations.**
If you wish, you may purchase a single class for $15.00 ( $ 12.00 for students) either online, or when you attend class. If you decide later to buy a semester membership, all your single drop-in class payments may be applied towards that purchase.
Newmass Yoga class meetings held in the Fine Arts Center follow the UMass academic calendar — a UMass holiday is a Newmass Yoga holiday. Click here to view the UMass academic calendar on the UMass website. Check the UMass website main page for possible weather closings. On-campus Newmass Yoga classes in the Fine Arts Center will be cancelled when the University is closed.
What Should I Bring to Class?
You don't need to bring anything. Wear comfortable clothing that permits you to move freely. Wearing layers helps because you'll warm up and cool down throughout class.
The studio has all the props you'll need -- but feel free to bring your own.
If possible, arrange your schedule to not eat a large meal right before class. Practicing yoga with a full belly can be distracting or uncomfortable. (But do eat. If you come to class starving, all you'll think about during class will be food.)
